Overview

Marcom Content by Ashley (MCA) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience working inside a fast-paced digital marketing agency, where you'll support real client projects while learning the tools, processes and strategies that keep marketing campaigns running smoothly.

You'll work directly with our team to help manage email marketing campaigns, marketing automation, webinars and content quality assurance. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in digital marketing, project coordination and client services.

Responsibilities

  • Build and schedule client newsletters and email campaigns in HubSpot.
  • Assist with HubSpot contact management, email lists, forms and marketing assets.
  • Set up and coordinate Zoom webinars, including registrations, reminder emails and attendee communications.
  • Review and edit intern-created content for grammar, accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on blogs, emails, landing pages and other marketing materials before publication.
  • Help organize client projects and keep deadlines on track.
  • Assist with marketing reports and campaign performance tracking.
  • Organize digital files, templates and client assets.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers and account managers on a variety of client projects.
  • Complete additional marketing and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or arelated field.
  • Strong written communication and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Digital Advertising Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a Digital Advertising Specialist to plan, execute and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple platforms. This role will manage advertising strategy while collaborating with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with broader content and lead-generation initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with creative execution and understands how advertising, landing pages and conversion optimization work together to drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, launch and manage digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategy.
  • Write and test ad copy, headlines and creative variations to improve campaign performance.
  • Design and optimize landing pages to support advertising campaigns and improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust bids, targeting and creative to improve ROI.
  • Analyze campaign data and prepare performance reports using tools, such as Google Analytics, AgencyAnalytics and SE Ranking.
  • Collaborate with members to align messaging across campaigns and channels.
  • Stay current on digital advertising trends, platform updates and emerging best practices.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads through coursework, internships or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including audience targeting, campaign structure and ad performance metrics.
  • Understanding of conversion tracking, analytics and performance reporting fundamentals.
  • Exposure to landing page design principles and conversion optimization concepts.
  • Strong analytical, writing and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This internship is designed for students interested in sales, marketing and business development who want real-world experience generating leads, building relationships and helping grow a digital marketing agency.

You'll spend your time making outbound sales calls, identifying prospective clients and visiting local businesses with our team to introduce MCA's services. This is an excellent opportunity to build communication skills, gain confidence in professional sales and learn how a marketing agency develops new business.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls to prospective clients.
  • Research local businesses and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and maintain accurate records in our CRM.
  • Visit local businesses with Ashley to introduce MCA's marketing services and assist with business development efforts.
  • Follow up with prospective clients through phone and email.
  • Learn and confidently communicate MCA's services and value to potential clients.
  • Help maintain an organized sales pipeline.
  • Assist with preparing sales materials and presentations.
  • Complete additional sales and business development tasks as needed.
